The Perry Fire Department has been serving the community of Perry Iowa since March 1878. We currently have 40 professional volunteers that perform firefighting, heavy rescue, EMT, diving and confined space tasks throughout a 100 square mile district. 2010 marks a milestone in Perry we will be hosting the 132nd Iowa Firemen's Association Convention, this is only the second time that Perry has hosted the convention. The last time Perry had the fire convention was 1913. We are looking foreward to having firefighters and their families from all over the state come and have fun in Perry.
